Hello and welcome to my website. 
My name is Monique and I am a fine artist and illustrator with a background as an experienced tattooist and as a belly dance teacher. I draw my inspiration from the beauty, strength and resilience of women. I love infusing my art with mystical, symbolic meaning and exploring themes of empowerment, transformation, sensuality and a connection to nature. 
I love celebrating all of life with my art! 

I very much enjoy the challenge of working with clients. I like connecting closely, asking them a million questions, and then expanding from there based on the ideas and vibe of the client. I absolutely love collaborations and a brief with a strict deadline because it gives me a focus and purpose I thrive on. For me, my art practice is all about connection and communicating what is said without words with my audience. 
my biggest high comes from the challenge of delivering work that is beyond the expectation of the client.
